The Men And Women That Make It Happen.

To many people forget about all the work that goes in behind the scenes at a football club. Without their time dedication and effort, it is no over exaggeration to say our beloved club would simply not be here.

Graham Drinkwater - Chairman - Picture to follow

The face of Westfield Football Club. An ex player who is now the figurehead at the Parish Field. One of the unsung heroes of County League football who has given so much over the years and a nicer man you are not likely to meet.

Kevin Baker - Vice Chairman

‘The Kaiser’. Knowledgeable, funny and the driving force behind so much that happens at the Parish Field. As a lecturer in the construction industry he is also one of the men responsible for getting our present ‘temporary accommodation’ up and running. The man behind ‘The Westfield Downs’ project who is becoming ever so slightly tired of Jonesy’s constant questions over the 106? Is it signed yet Kev??!!!!

Gill Attewell - Our 'Go-To' Girl

Tony, Dunc and Bally see her as their ‘Go-to’ girl and in their eyes one of the most important people at the club. Gill does so much for Westfield Football Club, the Management Trio are not embarrassed to admit that they would be lost without her. Thank you Gillian!

Merv and Sue's Cafe - Pic To Follow

‘No problem is too great that cannot be cured by a good cup of tea’. Stress relief before kick-off thanks to a brew from Sue and Merv and as good a grub as you’ll find in county league football after the match. The role these two play cannot be underestimated. Two wonderful people who cannot fail to put a smile on your face come match day.

John and Matt - Groundsman and able Side-kick

There is no point developing an ethos and a team that is built around the principles of how ‘The Beautiful Game’ should be played if you don’t have the surface to do it on. The strides John and his able side-kick Matt have made this year have been nothing short of miraculous. The old tag of ‘The Westfield Bobble’ is nearly a thing of the past thanks to John’s industry and skill. We rest easy knowing that when the move does happen, with John at the helm, we’re sure to be playing on a carpet.

Jacob Archer - Fixture Secretary, Centreback, Part-Time Keeper and General Good Guy! - Pic To Follow

Easily forgotten but without him where would we be! Polite, quiet and surprisingly efficent, Jacob is one of those guys for whom nothing is too much trouble. A solid centreback and a surprisingly talented keeper, Jacob is one of those guys the club simply couldn't do without.
